¡Economía Circular en el Rural del Prado!
In the British Pavillion of the Montevideo Rural del Prado (September 2021 edition), Patrick led a workshop on the circular economy of plastics with Mariana Castrillejo, who taught over 20 children how to make wallets from used Tetra-Park cartons.

In August 2019, together with Lucy Bell and colleagues at the library, Patrick led a cardboard-booking workshop for families in Cambridge, teaching book-making techniques and explaining the histories and geographies of thes publishing movement. Cambridge University Library now holds a special collection of cartonera books that were collected by the Cartonera Publishing project.
¡Hay Cartoneras!
In June 2018, Patrick and Lucy Bell delivered a series of cartonera workshops at the Hay book festival, in collaboration with a local artist and Emma Balch of The Story of Books. The events led to the establishment of a teenage cartonera publisher in Hay-on-Wye and their delivery of cartonera workshops all through the summer!
