Patrick has lectured on the anthropology of waste and infrastructure at the Universities of Cambridge and Manchester, as well as acting as a tutor/supervisor for small groups of undergraduate students. He has delivered guest lectures at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), the Pontífica Universidad Católica de Chile, and the Universidad de la República (Montevideo). Alongside his research, he currently teaches at the University of St Andrews and supervises one PhD student, Cristian Eraso.
